Enclave Barricade

This is a large piece, made of three sections, a gatehouse, and two walls, to allow it to be built in various different configurations. These are basically made up of all the scrap i had lying around at the time, there's about three old matchbox lorries in there, some cars, and some resin rubble sections i picked up at a convention. The armoured walkway at the top was built of individual scale wooden 'planks', and plated with corrugated plasticard.

Heres a close-up of the car area, it was just a cheap £1.99 purchase, but was over-scale in my opinion as a useable vehicle. Here though, buried in the wall, it doesn't look the wrong size.

This is the gatehouse section, the gates open up to allow access through into the rear area. the bags at the front are 1:35 scale sandbags, obviously way too large to be used as such in a 28mm game, but i painted them up as bags of cement, being about the right size, and quite useful, as they'd solidify once wet forming a permanent defense.

To the left of the main gatehouse, showing a wrecked, burnt out lorry i got for 25p from a flea market, round the back of this i've got the support posts for the wooden structure, actually going through the vehicle, along with more sand/cement bags forming a firing position.

This is the left 'arm' of the barricade, showing another cheap wrecked car, squashed with the aid of a hammer, yet another trashed lorry and a 'Britains' tipper trailer on it's side. You can also see a bit more of the wooden structure on this one.
